Job Description:

Apex is seeking a Chemical Operator to join a growing Chemical company located in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of process equipment:
  • Reaction systems, distillation systems, filters, extractors, autoclaves, reactors, pumps, centrifuges, etc.
• Load and unload raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
• Set up and adjust indicating and controlling devices.
• Monitor and record reactions.
• Adjust valves and controls to maintain system.
• Maintain log of gauge readings, shift production and equipment malfunctions.
• Draw product samples and perform tests.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a HS Diploma/GED (will also consider Associate's degrees).
• Must have previous experience working as a Chemical Operator.
• Must have excellent math and reading skills.
