Position Summary | Adjunct faculty at Stevenson University will engage in teaching activities in accordance with the University’s Faculty Workload. Teaching responsibilities will include teaching courses in the Music Department, including general education music courses and vocal or instrumental ensembles. |
Education/Experience | Master’s degree in Musicology, Music Education, or Music, and a strong commitment to quality teaching. Two years of college level teaching experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Doctorate in music preferred. |
Knowledge/Skills/Ability |

Physical Requirements | Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, keyboarding, and repetitive motions. Close visual acuity. Position requires sitting and standing for extended periods of time and the ability to speak clearly and effectively for an extended period of time. Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions. |
