We seek individuals dedicated to continuous learning and adding value through their value in hard work.Job Summary:In charge of ensuring the upkeep of all machinery for the fabrication of optics. Performs equipment maintenance and janitorial functions. Analyzes and solves technical maintenance problems. May arrange contracts for vendor services as relates to maintenance activities, pending approval of the maintenance team leader.Writing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures using various Microsoft applications and digital photography.Developing and managing a preventative maintenance PM schedule for all primary equipment within the facility and executing on it.Conducting repairs or replacements of faulty components in machinery, including the procurement of replacement parts either locally or through external vendors, while accurately documenting associated expenses in an expense log.Assisting the Tool Crib and Operations departments as time permits to enhance operational efficiency.Generating and evaluating projects and work schedules using MMS (Maintenance Management System), including estimating costs and timeframes for project completion.Ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of machinery and workshop areas.Proficiently reading and interpreting blueprints, specification sheets, and schematics.Creating or revising work process instructions as necessary.Proposing improvements to processes, products, or overall morale within the company.Undertaking any additional tasks as assigned by management.Requirements:HS diploma is required.
