Position will be assigned within MCI-Cedar Junction and cover all of Centeral Transportation Department wide.
Duties:
Responsible for performing repairs and renovations to the electrical system throughout the facility; ordering materials needed for repairs or projects; supervision of staff and incarcerated individuals and ensures that assignments are understood and carried out properly; ensures that all projects meet applicable code constraints; ensures that deadlines are met. Assist with carpentry, welding, landscaping, and snow removal. Performs other duties as assigned.

This is a Civil Service position. Candidate must take and pass the next Civil Service Examination for this title and score must be reached in order to be considered for a permanent appointment. Please note that salaries for union positions are determined according to the provisions of the respective collective bargaining agreement.
