Education/experience
Advanced degree and/or education and experience that equates to an advanced degree in fields such as Business, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Sociology, Psychology, or other related quantitative disciplines.
Job Summary
The Internship Data Manager will be responsible for developing an educational process and culture to capture relevant student and employer characteristics. Create a robust data collection plan and explore and identify pathways and processes to achieve goals by modernizing, collecting, synthesizing, and documenting credit and non-credit bearing internship experiences. The Internship Data Manager will also be responsible for benchmarking equitable student access and participation, with the ability to compare metrics with the Commonwealth and national data. This is a restricted, benefits eligible, non-renewable position resulting in a robust baseline report built on best-practices to serve our students.

Required Qualifications
  • Possess experience in project management, benchmarking, data collection and analysis, forecasting and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a group toward the successful completion of a project.
  • Experience with data warehousing/data modeling, familiarity with relational databases, and data visualization techniques
  • Experience with ERPs (such as Banner, Slate, Sales Force, Workday)
  • Meticulous with demonstrated writing, editing, verbal communication, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Experience with data collection and analysis of engaging students from marginalized backgrounds including first generation students.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills to report findings and exceptional ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form with people including students, faculty, staff, employers, parents, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability thrive in a fast-paced environment and make independent decisions exercising sound judgment.

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in related field preferred.
