About the Job:
Are you seeking a part-time role where you can utilize your skills as a CNC Operator? Are you interested in extra hours on the weekend? We are looking for experienced CNC Operators to support Mills and Swiss lathes. Do you thrive in a manufacturing environment where precision and quality are essential? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
Operate assigned mechanical equipment.
Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements.
Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments.
Read and interpret blueprints if applicable.
Utilize measuring instruments to maintain quality and precision.
Complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Adhere to 5S standards to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Perform work under general supervision with 2 years of experience.
Handle basic issues and problems independently, referring more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possess a working knowledge of subject matter.
Ability to interpret work instructions accurately.
Proficiency in following written and verbal directions.
Basic verbal and written communication skills.
Strong mathematical skills.
