Richard Heath & Associates, Inc. (RHA) is currently seeking a talented professional for the following opportunity in the Los Angeles area:
 
Energy Engineer Intern
 
We are seeking a motivated and talented Engineering Intern to join our energy efficiency team. As an Engineering Intern, you will play a crucial role in conducting energy audits in multifamily properties, analyzing equipment, and providing preliminary recommendations for energy efficiency improvements with an emphasis on natural gas equipment. This internship opportunity will provide valuable experience in the energy efficiency field while contributing to our mission of promoting sustainable practices.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of college and must be enrolled in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Projected graduation within 12 months and be able to work at least 25 to 30 hrs. between 8AM and 5PM
  • Have a light school load
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency programs and industry standards is a plus
  • Candidates must have valid California driver's license, reliable vehicle for travel and minimum level of insurance
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and climb ladders
 
Target Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
