Braun Intertec is seeking interested candidates to join our Bloomington, MN office for a position as an entry-level Construction Materials Testing Lab Technician.<br>
<br>
<b>No experience required. </b>
<br>
<br>
<b>We will train you.</b>
<br>
<br>The chosen candidate will receive in-depth technical training. As a lab technician, you will have the chance to get hands-on experience in a variety of different laboratory test procedures involving concrete and soils. The primary responsibility of the position is to support the concrete testing department by processing cylinders.<br>
<br>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<br>
<ul>
<li>Receive and process concrete cylinders</li>
<li>Use of machinery to process samples including concrete saw use</li></ul>
<strong>* Respirator will be worn so medical monitoring will be required</strong>
<ul>
<li>Proctor testing when time permits</li>
<li>Maintain equipment on an as needed basis</li>
<li>Support different departments of the lab as needed</li></ul>
<br>
<br>
<b>The ideal candidate will have:</b>
<br>
<ul>
<li>Education that focused on construction materials testing or civil engineering technology</li>
<li>Related work experience in materials testing or construction is a plus</li>
<li>ACI strength testing technician certification is a plus</li>
<li>MnDOT aggregate production and grading and base certifications are a plus</li>
<li>Ability to work with minimal supervision after receiving direction</li></ul>

<ul>
<li>A safety-first attitude</li>
<li>A High School diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>A valid driver's license with clean driving record</li>
<li>The ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly</li>
<li>A demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical concepts</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li></ul>
