Job Brief
Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, Shift Supervisor and Warehouse Lead Person, the Forklift Operator is responsible for supplying Line 6 with all raw materials needed. This operator will also unload inbound raw material shipments.
1. Operate a doublewide pallet-handling forklift truck. Change forklift batteries and fill with water as needed.
2. Operate bar code scanning equipment.
3. Complete all verification paperwork required to document correct inventory. Verifying of seals on inbound trailers and completion of inspection forms for trailers and materials as they are unloaded.
4. Must have ability to organize warehouse to put away incoming raw materials.
5. Must have the ability to work with little or no supervision.
6. Must have good communication skills.
7. Must be detail oriented and handle multiple tasks at once.
8. Must be flexible to work hours of all production lines.
9. Follow good housekeeping practices, and comply with safety and sanitation procedures.
10. Assist other forklift operators as needed.
