PCS Administration (USA), Inc. has opening for Superintendent, Reliability Engineering in Lima, OH.

What you will do:

Lead, manage, and direct all reliability department PSM, preventive and predictive activities to ensure safe work practices, technical verification of work, and system integrity during daily operations.

Manage and execute reliability programs that will result in maximum uptime of the units.

Ensure compliance with reliability processes, procedures, technical standards, and RAGAGAP.

Manage the Root Cause Investigation program and ensure the right improvement is completed. Review technology and provide guidance to reliability, operations, maintenance, and technology teams.

Lead and ensure the compliance to site safety and environmental programs and departmental procedures consistent with Company policy, goals and objectives, regulatory compliance and industry best practice, i.e. PSM compliance, mechanical integrity, supplier & services integrity and integration.

Ensure long term plant infrastructure reliability and integrity efforts and end of life tracking and replacement of major machinery, equipment, and processes.

Lead the preventive and predictive program of equipment and site assets.

Lead efforts to monitor and optimize the maintenance department and process engineering department.

Review projects to ensure reliability is integrated into scopes of projects. Lead a cross functional team of engineers to investigate incidents.

Oversee the scheduling and establishment of short- and long-term goals, and work activity priorities of departmental personnel to ensure optimum work force utilization, compliance with project timetables, coordination with other site departments, and compliance with established company and governmental safety and environmental policies and regulations.

Review and approve all plant modifications involving major process and equipment changes to ensure that all recommendations and modifications are technically and economically sound, complies with industry safety, and environmental standards and efficiencies.

Establish, manage, and review with operational production management the annual maintenance budgets, the impact of the plant energy consumption, production optimization and other yields & other planning and forecasting needs.

Provide leadership for training and development of skill sets and competencies of all reliability department personnel and provides adequate tools, equipment, machinery, and aids, such as technical software, work techniques for work accomplishment and personnel certifications and qualifications.

Serve as liaison for reliability activities with Corporate and other site groups to provide technical support and reliability technical information.

Ensure the existence of an updated, adequate, and pertinent technical information system and reference library of plant equipment, machinery, vessels, and other plant items. Stay abreast of new and innovative technologies, modern fabrication and assembly techniques for potential application and incorporation into plant process systems.

Oversee and approve reliability department budgets. Direct and review equipment and machinery design and initiates studies to investigate modifications for improved yields, capacity, energy, efficiency, equipment performance life, operating, maintenance procedures and environmental standards.

Position requires domestic and international travel.

What you will bring:

Will accept a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

And 10 years of post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.

Position requires 4 years of experience in each of the following:

1. Process safety management with emphasis in mechanical integrity programs;

2. Utilizing ASME Boiler, Pressure Vessel and Piping Codes;

3. Applying knowledge of high temperature and pressure metallurgy to analyze remaining equipment lifetime and design modern replacement equipment;

4. Applying knowledge of corrosion resistant metallurgies to improve equipment performance and conduct root cause analysis on performance deficiencies;

5. Providing plant design and project engineering;

6. Ensuring compliance with corporate process safety management procedures and industry recognized and generally accepted good engineering practice (RAGAGEP) including natural gas pipeline DOT integrity/inspection regulations;

7. Conducting process hazard analysis; and

8. Working in a chemical, petrochemical, or related continuous process operations field

Salary is $164,674.00/Year
