Order#: NY1528185 General Laborer - Asphalt To schedule an interview please call: 585-784-0095 Key Responsibilities: Surface Preparation: Assist with preparing surfaces for asphalt installation, including breaking up old asphalt and leveling the ground. Asphalt Installation: Assist with the installation of new asphalt surfaces and repair of existing ones. Material Handling: Load, unload, and move construction materials, including asphalt, around the worksite. Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools, such as shovels, rakes, pneumatic hammers, and tampers, as directed. Traffic Control: Assist with setting up and maintaining traffic control measures. Site Maintenance: Remove rubble, debris, and other materials from the worksite. General Labor: Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor, including digging, filling, and leveling. Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety policies and procedures. Teamwork: Work effectively with other members of the construction crew. Other Duties: May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
