Your Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up a side grinder performing a finish on part face by making several passes on each part.
- Loads machine, runs samples, checks parts for surface dimensions, close tolerances and flatness, and compares with print.
- Runs production: May make adjustments when parts do not meet specifications.
- Fills out and maintains SPC documentation.
- Performs maintenance on machine.
- 2nd Shift, Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 11:00pm
Your Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
- Experience running machines
- Mechanical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Two plus years experience operating complex plant grinding machines
- Experience setting up machines or the equivalent formal technical education.
