Supply Chain Planning is a key function to enabling Seagate's ability to hit
sales and revenue goals while being hyper focus on inventory management. This
organization works cross functionally with account management/revenue
operations to understand demand and supply planning and operations to
understand capability to support. As demand and supply ever changes, we are
constantly reworking plans to ensure we meet and exceed financial targets.
About the role - you will:
Be an integral part of the planning team for all three of our businesses
(HDD/SSD/CSG/Systems)
Meet with each planning team to understand how each business operates from
demand to supply commit as it relates to process, tools, and organizations.
Research best-in-class planning processes and provide comparisons with Seagate
process.
Provide recommendation on how we can optimize and standardize where
appropriate.
Review SAP capability to see if there are enhancements that enable increase
automation and analytic.
Work with cross functional resources across the world.
