QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, or other networking equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of networking architectures preferred.
Must be diligent, hardworking, and quick to learn.
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Description:
SUMMARY: The Networking Field Engineering Intern will work alongside the Technical Services team to gain hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with our seasoned network engineers, learn about network protocols, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to network optimization.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge on MultiTech gateway, router, and sensor products.
Assist in configuring and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement.
Participate in network design discussions and propose solutions.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues and resolve network-related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations.
Document network configurations, changes, best practices and assist with developing technical training.
Report/recommend new features to engineering and product management for product improvement or for addressing product deficiencies.
