Job Description
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Our LPNs are responsible for providing quality,
routine, direct and indirect patient care for geriatric and/or disabled
members of WVHUG. Duties include assisting the Registered Nurses in
making critical observations of clients and assisting in complex care
situations; working directly with families; assisting in personal care;
administering and documenting treatments and medication; participating
in the maintenance of the care unit; and working with an
interdisciplinary team. Core Shifts Available AM 1st shift - 6:30 a.m.
to 3:00 p.m. PM 2nd shift - 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. NOC 3rd shift -
10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Our LPN full time positions work multiple
shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. For more information

ability to move, reposition and transport patients, stand and/or walk up
to 75% of eight-hour day to provide assessments, sit, kneel, stoop, make
visual observations, lift, push, pull, carry, reach, maintain hygiene,
use special safety equipment, and wear protective clothing. Employment
in this position is contingent upon passing a pre-employment
tuberculosis (TB) skin test. Due to the nature of the positions, WDVA
will conduct a criminal background check prior to an offer of
employment. A 12-month probationary period may be required. Employees at
this healthcare facility are required to provide documentation of being
fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by date of hire. Reasonable
accommodations will be considered on a case-by-case basis for exemptions
