<strong>Assembler I Position Summary</strong>
<br>
<br>Perform assembly and packaging of components into products for the medical industry. This position will be based out of our facility located in west Bloomington, Minnesota (55438).<br>
<br>
<strong>Assembler I Duties and Responsibilities</strong>
<br>
<ul> <li>Inspect, assemble, and package medical devices and components</li> <li>Use tray, band, and impulse sealers</li> <li>Work with chemicals (Isopropyl Alcohol, solvents, detergents, etc.) as needed to clean work areaand components.</li> <li>Ensure products are handled and assembled per Quality Tech Services' Quality Systems Procedure(s)</li> <li>Adhere to cGMP and ISO regulations</li> <li>Competent on all tray, band and impulse sealers</li> <li>Responsible for maintaining an awareness of workplace safety and OSHA regulations and relevant training</li> <li>Responsible for proper documentation necessary to complete job</li> <li>Assist with weekly cleaning of production area(s) and cleaning of common areas</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>

<ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li> <li>Able to read, speak and understand English.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail.</li> <li>Good hand-eye coordination.</li> <li>Able to work in a clean room environment, including working with chemicals as needed to clean work areas and components (Isopropyl Alcohol, solvents, detergents, etc.).</li> <li>Able to sit and stand for long periods of time.</li></ul>

<strong>Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</strong>
<br>
<ul> <li>Able to work overtime as needed (staying later during the week days or at least one weekend day)</li> <li>Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).</li> <li>Assembly, clean room or manufacturing experience.</li> <li>Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing Methodologies.</li> <li>Previous work experience in a clean room environment.</li> <li>Knowledge or training pertaining to cGMP and ISO regulations.</li> <li>Clean room practices, including gowning.</li></ul>
