JOB REQUIREMENTS: Memory Care Resident Care Assistant Eagle Crest
Communities is seeking a Resident Care Assistant to support the
residents in our 12 memory care apartments in our Hearten House located
in Holmen. Our Memory Care Units are designed to provide care and
support to older adults who experience memory impairment. Here, we have
a range of residents that are independent, to others who require
mechanical lifts, assistance with medication administration, and other
activities of daily living. What You\'ll Do: - Assist residents with
personal cares, daily activities while helping them maintain as much
independence and dignity as possible - Other responsibilities could
include medication management, light housekeeping, and a variety of
other tasks - Provide dressing, bathing and bathroom assistance -
Transport residents to meals and activities, documentation of daily
care, and a variety of other tasks. - Communicate and interact with
residents, their families, and other departments to create an
environment that focuses on resident safety and well-being. What You\'ll
Need: - Previous direct care experience, preferred - Certified Nursing
Assistant training and/or experience (any State), preferred - CBRF
Certification, preferred Our Wages: - Our starting rate is between
\$17.50 and \$19.50 + per hour, based on your experience and
qualifications. - Increases upon orientation completion. And regular
wage reviews we pay for high performance! - We also offer a \$0.75/HR PM
and \$3.00/HR NOC shift differential as well as Weekend Differential and
on-call incentives. Qualifications for Higher Starting Pay: - Previous
direct care experience - Certified Nursing Assistant training and/or
experience - CBRF Certification(s) Other Responsibilities of the Job:
Turn or reposition bedridden patients. Answer patient call signals,
signal lights, bells, or intercom systems to determine patients\' needs.
Feed patients or assist patients to eat or drink. Provide physical
support to assist patients to perform daily living activities, such as
getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, using the toilet, standing,
walking, or exercising. Document or otherwise report observations of
patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses. Remind
patients to take medications or nutritional supplements. Review
patients\' dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to
ensure patient receives appropriate diet. Undress, wash, and dress
patients who are unable to do so for themselves. Observe or examine
patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention, such as
bruises, open wounds, or blood in urine. Lift or assist others to lift
patients to move them on or off beds, examination tables, surgical
tables, or stretchers. Communicate with patients to ascertain feelings
or need for assistance or social and emotional support. Gather
information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient
condition, treatment plans, or appropriate activities. Wash, groom,
shave, or drape patients to prepare them for surgery, treatment, or
examination. Prepare or serve food trays. Change bed linens or make
beds. Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, examination rooms, or
other patient areas. Provide information, such as directions, visiting
hours, or patient status information to visitors or callers. \*\*\*\*\*
