Posting Summary | The individual in this role is responsible for creating a bi-directional partnership between the University of Vermont’s academic medical centers and rural practices to facilitate research in rural settings. The Practice-Based Research Navigator will facilitate T3 (translation to practice) and T4 (translation to population health) research with clinicians in practice sites. |
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) | Master’s in relevant field and three to five years’ experience in relevant field. Ability to educate learners in all aspects of research. Extensive knowledge of statistical principles and methods, and proficiency with computers, databases and computer based analysis packages for research (SAS, SPSS, or Stata preferred). Ability to function independently, and facilitate projects through all phases of development and implementation. |

Anticipated Pay Range | $46,500-$55,000 is the actual anticipated pay range for this 0.75 FTE position |

Special Conditions | Contingent on continued funding, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Travel to and from worksites required, Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position |
