Responsibilities Execute menu items according to the chefs standards of preparation, seasoning, presentation, and portioning Excel in a fast paced environment with high quality standards Maintain food safety standards according to NYC Department of Health guidelines Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient workstation Maintain a positive, team-spirited approach with a willingness to support fellow cooks as needed Qualifications Minimum 2 years of culinary or restaurant experience Excellent knife skills Professional culinary references required Experienced in dishwashing and sanitation Must own a complete knife and tool kit Must have regular computer access Impeccable standards of personal hygiene New York City Food Handlers Certificate is a plus Strong work ethic well organized, focused attentive to details Dependable and punctual Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and stand for at least 8 hours Pay Rate: $18 - $20/hr.
