As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to various projects aimed at improving production processes and enhancing product quality. This internship is designed to provide you with practical experience in manufacturing engineering principles, tools, and techniques within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Assist in the development of tooling and fixture optimization Helping to support current equipment and projects driven from safety concerns Aid in the re-layout of the assembly area including moving assembly lines, ethernet network, and auto fill network Implement safety equipment for various assembly departments Conduct time studies and make recommendations for capacity improvements Update work instructions for assembly processes as needed
Must be pursuing bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or mechanical engineering while in sophomore year or higher Willing to work with machinery and make modifications themselves to equipment Knowledge or experience with assembly or machining Strong verbal and written communication skills High level of organizational skills and creative problem-solving skills Strong computer skills (MS Office) with an ability to learn new systems and tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
