Who We Are:
Our team, the Space Operations section, is dedicated to executing Science
and Mission Operations Centers for Solar System Exploration.
Objectives of this Role:
This position would assist in the leading of the Mission Operations section
which operates the CYGNSS constellation and will launch the PUNCH,
QuickSounder and CubiXSS missions.
The individual will also assist the department in writing future mission
proposals to grow the Mission Operations section.
Serve as a reviewer as needed for engineering reviews.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Daily operations of up to 13 spacecraft. Check Command Uploads, Data
downlink, spacecraft health and trending.
Perform trending and analysis of spacecraft/payload performance and assist
with anomaly investigations
Work with Mission Planning, Software Development, Flight Controller teams
in successful operation of spacecraft including building up MOC systems for
new missions.
Monthly report generation for NASA and other customers.
Evaluate software updates to mission planning, data processing, command,
control, and telemetry system.
