<br>We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack WordPress Developer to join our team to create and maintain school websites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress-based websites for schools, ensuring that the websites are user-friendly, visually appealing, and easy to navigate. The role will involve collaborating with school administrators, teachers, and IT staff to develop and implement website features and functionalities that support the school's mission and goals.<br>
<b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</b>

<li>Develop, maintain and update WordPress-based websites for numerous schools</li>
<li>Design and develop new website features, functionalities and templates</li>
<li>Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, marketing, and IT staff to determine website requirements and create project plans</li>
<li>Ensure website design and functionality are optimized for user experience and accessibility</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and debug website issues</li>
<li>Monitor website traffic, user behavior, and other analytics to inform ongoing improvements</li>
<li>Ensure website security, backups and maintenance</li>
<li>Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices</li></ul>

<b>MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</b>

<li>Bachelor's degree and/or certifications in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field preferred</li>
<li>Minimum 2-3 years of experience in WordPress development and web development</li>
<li>Experience working with schools or educational organizations is a plus</li>
<li>Strong experience with WordPress development, including custom themes, plugins, and functionality</li>
<li>Strong experience with front-end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX</li>
<li>Strong experience with PHP programming language</li>
<li>Understanding of web design principles and user experience best practices</li>
<li>Experience with website analytics and monitoring tools</li>
<li>Experience with website security, backups and maintenance</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team</li>
<li>Strong communication and project management skills</li>
<li>Experience working with schools or educational organizations is a plus</li></ul>
