Job Description
Good math skills, computer skills, communication skills and organizational skills. Read and follow directions. Prefer 1 - 2 years prior machining experience. Capable of learning to read blue prints. Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs. Apprentice will work 40 hours per week doing on-job training, while taking related courses of instruction through Sinclair (an avg. 1 - 2 courses per semester). This is a Certified State of Ohio, 4-year apprenticeship program, in which upon meeting the requirements of 8,000 on-job training hours and 576 course related instruction hours, the apprentice will receive a certificate of completion from The State of Ohio.
Throughout 4-year program, Apprentice will receive quarterly reviews with potential for pay increases with work and course expectations being met.
Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check, Background Check and Physical Exam.
