The Biomedical Medical Device Analyst is a Remote position. Will utilize data to answer questions, locate trends, drive decision making and predict unknown outcomes. Will be responsible for providing technical expertise on a variety of projects to identify and implement best practices and standardization of processes and systems. The Biomedical Medical Device Analyst will lead development efforts to test hypotheses, interpret results effectively delivering results in a clear concise format. A portion of this role will be allocated to continuous improvement for the broader Biomedical Services and Operations organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Research data questions/issues
Recommend enhancements to data acquisition/movement process to improve availability and quality of data supporting analytic models and dashboards
Provide predictive analytics and upkeep on key performance indicators for Biomed
Building and maintaining Biomed metrics
Lead improvement projects for computerized medical device management system
Apply data transformation techniques enabling robust data exploration from multiple perspectives, specifically of medical device, lab, and other technical information
Effectively lead analytic projects considering time, cost, and accuracy
Participates in technical team calls and with vendor partners, bringing ways to improve medical device reliability
Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Three to Five (3-5) years' experience providing dialysis equipment repair and maintenance service, medical device repair, engineering and or field service required
Associates Degree or Apprenticeship preferred
Demonstrated business skills including budget management, project planning skills and organizational skills
Can identify, define and resolve problems by developing systemic solutions
Ability to execute solutions, to drive implementations and improvements in positive, proactive ways
Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
Designs reports and metrics to project sponsors proactively
Communicates project status and open issues proactively
Demonstrated ability to create clear, effective written and oral communications. Ability to create and deliver concise and effective presentations to all levels of the organization
Strong Microsoft Office & Excel Skills
Prefer candidates proficient in structured query language (SQL)
Prefer candidates proficient in Data Visualization Tools (Tableau or others)
Prefer candidates with experience working with and creating data sources and dashboards to provide actionable recommendations for stakeholders
Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures
Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility of this position
Ability to travel 10% of time

Salary/ Wage Range
$50,000.00-$100,000.00 / year
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
