Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline from a four-year college or university
- Zero to two years related experience and/or training
- Understanding and ability to adhere to General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills and detail orientation
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Basic understanding of the general ledger and month-end closing process
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Analytical and organizational skills coupled with the ability to multitask effectively without compromising the quality of work
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
- Proficiency with MS Office and email
- Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
Preferred Qualifications
- Mortgage lending experience a plus
- Knowledge in title processes a plus
