Hours vary according to the semester but are typically 6:00 am- 5:00 pm on clinical days. This position will supervise students in acute care clinicals at Baylor Scott & White in Brenham and/or on campus clinical labs/simulations/skills competencies as needed.

Work Hours Vary according to semester. Clinical days are 0600 to 1700, Skills days are 0800-1700.
Position Summary Information

Objective
To implement and evaluate curriculum, in addition to participation in development of standards for admission, progression, probation, and dismissal of students and to participate in academic guidance and counseling. To provide instruction and supervision in the clinical, skills lab, and simulation areas.
Essential Duties
Assists in hands on clinical supervision in the acute care facility, on-campus, and/or lab setting.
Assists the program director in development, revision, and implementation of program policy.
Promote high standards of excellence in assigned courses.
1. Attends continuing education seminars for professional development.
2. Conducts student conferences and maintains conference records.
3. Assists in the development and administration of annual program budget.
4. Serves on college committees when elected or appointed.
5. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
RN actively employed in nursing for the past three years. Three years of varied nursing experience since graduation.
Preferred Experience and Training
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with other
employees, students, and others as required.
Knowledge of the vocational nursing curriculum and instructional methodology and techniques. Knowledge of Microsoft office.
Physical Requirements
Ability to bend, lift, and stand/walk for long periods at a time when performing
clinical supervision. Must be on your feet and providing direct clinical supervision.
Required Degree, License or Certifications
Current RN license in good standing with Texas Board of Nursing. Current CPR certification.
