Qualifications: Current LPN licensure in New York. CPR certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician - Monitor and record vital signs of patients Responsibilities: - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician - Monitor and record vital signs of patients - Assist with patient assessments and develop nursing care plans - Perform IV insertion and manage IV therapy - Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing - Provide wound care and dressings - Assist with discharge planning and patient education - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care Skills: - Proficient in IV insertion and management - Knowledge of specimen collection processing - Familiarity with discharge planning procedures - Strong understanding of physiology and medical terminology - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities - Basic life support (BLS) certification - Knowledge of hospice care practices - Ability to perform physical examinations and lift patients Send resume and cover letter to www.sunriseseniorliving.com/careers
