PLM/MDM Sr. Software Application Architect
Job Description
The PLM/MDM Sr. Software Application Architect designs, develops, tests, and debugs software applications, spanning both frontend and backend development. This role involves using modern methodologies, ensuring secure coding practices, and integrating with other applications.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Design, develop, test, and debug software applications for end-users or integration with ISVs.
Work across the full application stack, including frontend and backend development.
Use modern software development methodologies and programming languages.
Follow secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines.
Analyze user stories, write functional and test code, and automate build and deployment.
Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of applications.
Complete SDL tasks with product security engineers.
Provide input to technical writers for product documentation and procedures.
Interact with end users to define system requirements and modifications.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of experience, OR Master’s Degree with 4+ years of experience, OR PHD with 2+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or STEM-related field.
6+ years of experience in Planning and PLM Integration with SAP.
6+ years of experience with Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
Experience with at least one large-scale SAP MDM and PLM implementation.
6+ years of experienceSAP MD configuration, customization, and administration activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP integration experience with upstream and downstream systems.
Data migration experience from legacy to new SAP ERP systems and legacy PLM to industry-standard PLM systems.
Experience in the semiconductor domain.
Prior experience in handling digital transformation initiatives.
Experience with items, BOM, change management, and workflow automation.
Projects execution in Agile methodology.
Expertise in Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
