Summary
You will serve as ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the Berth Day Port Operations Center, Port OPS division of US NAVAL BASE GUAM.

You will be responsible for specialized equipment located at Degaussing range.
You will provide review, maintenance and publication of technical records of magnetic measurements, degaussing system operating instructions and operational charts
You will provide training to foreign nationals in support of the Foreign Military sales degaussing training course offered through NETSAFA.
You will be responsible for managing, planning, analyzing, programing, implementing, installing, and testing of all Degaussing Range software and hardware upgrades.
You will operate magnetic field electric sensing equipment to determine magnetic and electric signatures of ships and evaluate the subsequent signature for corrective action.
You will evaluate software and hardware updates provided by the MSF in-service engineering agent and makes technical recommendations based on systems performance and evaluation.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Required to participate in the direct deposit pay program.

This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing, planning, analyzing, programing, implementing, installing, and testing of all Degaussing Range software and hardware upgrades; and applying configuration control of software and hardware components of Degaussing Range.
