JOB REQUIREMENTS: General Description: Every person who works at
Advocates for Healthy Transitional Living is a Child Advocate. Every
employee must be 100% committed to decisions and actions that: move a
child one step closer to developing a healthy relationship with a
trusted adult, and support the physical and emotional safety of the
child. Primary Responsibilities: Every Advocates Employee commits to
saying YES to: focus on well-being of kids first, everything else
second. finding ways to develop relationships with kids who may make you
uncomfortable, are disrespectful to you, try to physically or
emotionally harm you, need attention to personal hygiene or want nothing
to do with you. practicing Trauma Informed Care having Unconditional
Positive Regard using motivational interviewing understanding how to
demonstrate Advocates\' SHARED Values. being part of a team and finding
ways to make your team better. being creative and making decisions on
the spot. taking the lead; setting up a plan. being a follower;
following someone else\'s or a client\'s direction. stepping in wherever
you are needed or adjusting plans at a moment\'s notice. \*\*\*\*\*
