Director of Spring Theater Production

Select and direct a spring play for undergraduates, to be performed in April
Responsibilities
* select a play suitable to the timeline, venue, and budget; to be approved by the Department of Music and Theatre * audition and select student performers * help hire production assistants, costumers, set designers, etc. as needed * lead rehearsals, generally held in the evenings, with some flexibility for number and times * assign grades for students participating for academic credit * foster an environment appropriate to Bethel's efforts to develop as an inclusive university community
Skills

Experience
Success directing plays at the high school or college level required
Education
BA in theatre or equivalent required; MA or equivalent preferred
