The posted compensation range of $26.51 - $38.44 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Working as a Med Tech/MLT/LAB Tech at our Critical Access Hospital, you'll perform a wide range of technical procedures analyzing blood and various body fluids in order to expedite the physician’s diagnosis and treatment of patients.

This position is casual as needed...we will hire a MT/MLS, MLT or LAB Tech in this position!
Responsibilities
- Performs job duties of Lab Tech; performing a variety of chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic procedures of a moderately and highly complex nature, following established standards and practices to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in MLT OR Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Bachelor's Degree in Biology or related science from an accredited school.
- Current certification as one of the following or to be obtained as applicable: Med Tech (Medical Tech), Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS), Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) OR LAB Tech.
- Certification by ASCP or NCA.
Preferred:
- Two (2) years of experience.
