    We are looking for a dedicated Marketing Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and communications support for a variety of church-related activities. This role involves managing media platforms, maintaining databases, and creating detailed materials to effectively engage the congregation and inform the public. This is a Contract position based in Boerne, Texas.


    Responsibilities:

    • Design and distribute weekly bulletins for both Traditional and Contemporary worship services.

    • Create and manage detailed newsletters and special event communications to ensure timely updates.

    • Maintain and update social media platforms, including Facebook, with engaging and relevant content.

    • Regularly review and update the church website to ensure accurate and accessible information.

    • Prepare and disseminate the annual report and other official materials.

    • Manage the church's member database to keep records current and organized.

    • Organize and store communication files using SharePoint for easy access and compliance.

    • Coordinate volunteer requests and maintain a database for event participation.

    • Assist in preparing materials for monthly Session meetings and other administrative needs.

    • Update and manage the church Operating Manual to reflect current processes and policies.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

    • Experience with Canva

    • Strong skills in website design, maintenance, and CRM tools.

    • Excellent organizational abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including well-prepared presentation capabilities.

    • Ability to self-teach new tools and adapt to changing priorities with minimal supervision.

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

    • At least 5 years of experience in a responsible administrative role with a focus on communications
