Job Summary:  Summary:

Equipment Engineers are integral members of our Wafer Fab operation in Photolithography Semiconductor Equipment that deliver high quality, efficient manufacturing and advanced technologies that produce innovative RF products and solutions to Qorvo's industry-leading wireless device and network customers. They are responsible for working with the process and sustaining group engineering teams to maintain, optimize, and refine hardware to support and improve existing processes and equipment. This is a challenging position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment.



Responsibilities:

Relying on your strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and process improvement skills, you will:

-Serve as the equipment tool owner in Photolithography Semiconductor Equipment, identify problems and provide solutions for equipment development and maturity on your assigned tools

-Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment

-Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process

-Interface with vendors and contractors for new tool installation, upgrades, and qualification

-Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues

-Define and write preventative maintenance schedules

-Train and support Maintenance Technician



Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; experience may be considered in lieu of degree

-3+ years technical experience working as an engineer

-TEL Act and Inspectrolgy equipment experience is a plus

-Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing principles, practices, and techniques as they relate to equipment engineering and maintenance

-Strong technical capability, including knowledge of pneumatics, motor controls, robotics, electronics, and semiconductor processes

-OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) level equipment and process troubleshooting skills are a necessity.

-Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

-Experience with CAD software strongly preferred

-Strong verbal and written communication skills

-Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across functions

-Strong time management skills to enable on-time task completion

-Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

-Ability to work off-hours as needed

Compensation
Salary:   $94,000.00 to $122,300.00 per Year Depending on Experience
