differences. In this position, you will provide technical support for
Motion Service in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, delivering superior,
professional service, remotely or on site. You will be responsible to
provide technical onsite and offsite support and expertise in response
to a variety of site work requests, telephone calls and emails regarding
installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and
programming questions and to technical problems encountered by users of
ABB Medium Voltage drives and systems. This in turn results in different
actions on the part of the individual depending on the specific
circumstances of each case. Execution is performed in a timely
manner.This is a position with global grade 16This position reports to
Service Team LeaderYour responsibilities Perform installation,
commissioning, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and repair of
ABB Medium Voltage (MV) Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) Investigate
problems and independently initiate effective measures for their
solution Coordinate activities with related groups to most efficiently
achieve objectives to ensure customer satisfaction Participate
proactively in contributing feedback regarding product quality issues to
reduce warranty costs Carry out preparatory work regarding spare parts,
testing of tools and equipment and documentation as required Submit
completed, detailed, and comprehensive service reports in a timely
manner and follows up when needed Coaches and provides technical
guidance to fellow colleagues, departments and customers Communicate
effectively and present information to top management, customers,
vendors and other employees of the organizationYour background
