Job Description:
Dingwell’s North America is currently taking applications for a Welder person for our Superior, WI manufacturing facility. Qualified candidate must be able to weld in a productive and safe manner to produce parts that meet our quality requirements at the lowest cost, in a timely manner, while minimizing waste of materials and resources. If you have hands-on custom fabrication experience, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities:
• Plans work duties by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and welding parameters.
• Set-up, adjust and operate welders on a variety of materials within a department.
• Follow set-up procedures and recommend improvements.
• Read and understand layouts, job packets and blueprints for the parts being fabricated.
• Provide accurate inventory counts at all times and keep parts in appropriate parts storage areas.
• Perform quality checks on parts with the use of a variety of inspection equipment.
• Assist in process development with engineers, quality technicians and supervisors.
• Perform necessary side operations as required.
• Perform daily maintenance of machines as required and keeps supervisor informed of necessary maintenance beyond operator assigned maintenance.
• Work as a team member to aid all shifts and support personnel to operate to the departmental standards including quality and productivity goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
