POSITION: General Maintenance Worker - Plant Operations
DUTIES:
• Perform maintenance duties to ensure the physical structure and equipment
remain in good repair.
• Conduct basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and mechanical repairs.
• Perform urgent corrective repairs on electrical, mechanical, and
plumbing systems as needed.
• Install, align, fabricate, and build new or used equipment and systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on facility structures, equipment,
and associated controls while ensuring compliance with building safety codes.
• Assist other maintenance technicians (Electrician, HVAC, &
Plumber) as assigned.
• Maintain routine records of inspections, preventative maintenance, and
repairs using CMMS.
• Perform manual labor tasks, including moving supplies/furniture,
grounds cleanup, and removing trash or scrap metal.
• Read blueprints and interpret instructions for maintenance projects.
• Work day, evening, and/or night shifts as required.
• Work on-call for one week per month or as needed.
• Utilize and maintain plant tools and equipment.
• Maintain a working knowledge of fire alarm and signal systems.
• Identify and respond to occupational hazards and follow engineering
controls for safety.
