Position Summary: Responsible for individualized client services provided in a setting providing addictions services. Duties include assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating client behaviors and outcomes while ensuring appropriate level/type of service is provided. |
Position Description: - With close supervision; conducts interviews and administers assessments and screening instruments as defined by certification
- Maintain caseload and productivity by ensuring regular contact with clients to monitor and assess progress
- Lead educational groups and/or facilitate group curriculum
- Write service plans, review progress and determine updates needed in collaboration with client and team
- Utilize approved best practice model working with clients in individual or group setting
- Deliver on-going services to clients which may include: crisis intervention, advocacy, medication monitoring, and referral and linkage to community resources as needed
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and agency policies
- Document all clinical activities to meet specific program, funder and regulatory criteria timely and with accuracy
- Participate in team meetings and assist in making recommendations for client status changes
- Adhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Ability to provide group and individual substance use disorder services
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate strong ethical and professional behavior.
- Ability to relate to and interact with a wide variety of people in an ethical, culturally sensitive and respectful manner
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to multi-task while prioritizing
- Ability to utilize technology including electronic service documentation system
| Job Requirements: - Associates Degree in Behavioral Science or related field or;
- Equivalent work experience as allowed/required by regulatory bodies
- CDCA
