    Are you interested in using your skills to help shape the Cyber, Security, & Intel space? If so, look no further. We are seeking a Python Developer to join our team of passionate individuals. In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation’s security and intelligence mission.

    This position is perfect for an independent worker who will use their Python skills to integrate products within the organization and across the agency baseline. You’ll have the opportunity to work with container technologies and service-oriented architectures to enhance capabilities that perform geolocations supporting the warfighter.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop new capabilities including the integration of components and common services libraries
    • Manage existing software baselines and sustain operational systems as needed


    Requirements



    • Experience with Enterprise Java development
    • Experience with Python development; ability to read and write into/out of the data structures adjacent to complex mathematics
    • Experience developing Service oriented architectures
    • Experience developing micro service solutions
    • Database experience such as Mongo or MySQL


    Clearance Required:

    • TS/SCI with Poly


    Minimum Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    • 4 years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.


    Minimum Years of Experience:

    • 14 years’ experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required


    Preferred:

    • Experience with Java development IDEs (e.g., IntelliJ, Eclipse)
    • Exposure to/basic familiarity with Python libraries for scientific programming (e.g., NumPy, pandas)
    • Experience with Agile development practices
    • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
    • Experience with Gitlab
    • Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
    • Familiarity with ELK and interfacing with it
    • Experience with geolocation applications and/or JICD
    • Experience/knowledge of ISLANDTRANSPORT messaging infrastructure

    The base salary range for this position is $200K to $240K

    This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
