Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in security operations, cloud security, or security governance
  • 4 years of cybersecurity experience in cloud security, security architecture, or incident response
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with cybersecurity concepts and how security controls are applied across on-premises and cloud environments
  • Knowledge of penetration testing and incident response concepts. Ability to lead complex conversations with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to successfully communicate (e.g., verbal and written) with clients in a concise manner while managing expectations at both executive and technical levels
  • Excellent executive presence

About the job

As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will have experience across various cyber security domains (e.g., security governance, endpoint and network security, identity and access management, vulnerability management, incident response, security operations). You will understand how security can be applied to cloud environments. Additionally, you will provide detailed recommendations to enhance the client's ability to protect critical assets, detect threat actor activity, and efficiently respond to incidents. You will utilize consulting skills, and will work under time sensitive deadlines and provide the engagement team support.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$154,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice on best practices for managing cyber security risk across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Lead consulting engagements and develop deliverables from start to finish and work closely with team members.
  • Conduct client security reviews and maturity assessments to determine cyber risk and provide clear, and organized observations and recommendations.
  • Facilitate workshop discussions across Security Governance, Security Architecture, Security Risk Management and Cyber Defense.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance cyber security programs, provide technology implementation guidance, and build or transform Cyber Defense capabilities.
