What You Will Do:

• Perform all required safety checks including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations; inspected tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
• Report all safety issues and/or repairs as needed.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies. Immediately report any and all safety hazards.
• Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to predetermined route schedule.
• Perform hook/unhook procedures per safety guidelines. Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas. Ensure all equipment and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured all times.
• Complete daily record of hours of services and enter in login in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean and required.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

What You Need:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Clean CDL Class A license.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of prior delivery experience.
• Must have the ability to lift product weighing up to 100 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Required to climb in and out of a commercial vehicle and operate in a safe manner.
• Must be able to walk, bend, lift on a regular basis.

Salary Range: $23.10 to $25/hour based on experience
