Position at Lifespark
Birchwood Health Care Center, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, is looking for a dedicated and passionate Maintenance Assistant to join our growing team.
Birchwood Health Care Centeris home to seniors requiring TCU (Transitional Care Unit) Care and Long-Term Care. We are in Forest Lake, near North Shore Dr and Forest Lake. We have been helping seniorsAge Magnificentlysince 1979 and are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit supporting seniors.
Location: 604 NE First Street, ForestLake MN, 55025Schedule: Full-Time Day ShiftWage:$17.50-$22.50/hour, based on experience

In this position you will assist in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment. Duties include:
Perform all duties concerned with electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, painting, floor care, and various equipment.
Perform assigned housekeeping duties including trash removal, mopping, cleaning, etc. in accordance with facility policy.
Address and correct work orders to maintain building and equipment operation.
Assist in the purchasing of supplies and equipment for departmental operation, may require vehicle operation.
Assist in the supervision of outside contractor services.
Assist in the inspection of building, equipment, and grounds on a regular basis to ensure compliance with codes and regulations and to maintain proper operation.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in health care is preferred.
