The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The USAC Activation & Channel Marketer will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth. This role requires a creative and analytical thinker who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful marketing campaigns.
As a(n) Area Activation & Channel Marketer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Developing and implementing activation marketing plans that align with business objectives and brand strategy.
- Collaborating with product management, sales, and other marketing teams to create integrated marketing campaigns.
- Managing the execution of marketing initiatives, including events, promotions, digital marketing, and content creation.
- Analyzing campaign performance and providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Managing budgets and ensuring all marketing activities are delivered on time and within budget.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal teams, like Global Marketing Center, and with external partners, agencies, and vendors.
- Being responsible for programs to help with lead generation and to support new closed-won opportunities to support business growth
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Three (3) years of experience in marketing, with a focus on activation or brand marketing in a private, public, government or military environment
- Experience in B2B marketing and/or channel marketing
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of experience in marketing, with a focus on activation or brand marketing in a private, public, government or military environment
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Electronics, Transportation, Energy, Aerospace and/or Defense markets a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Work location:
- Hybrid - Maplewood, MN approx. 2 days per week in office, when possible
Travel: May include up to 5% international travel
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
