JOB REQUIREMENTS: What You\'ll Do Perform preventative maintenance on
CNC machine tools, spinning lathes, ovens, overhead cranes and various
manufacturing equipment In-depth knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics,
lubrication and electricity. Understanding and ability to fabricate,
machine parts and weld as needed to repair or upgrade machine tools,
equipment or facility Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery
includes tear down and replacement of defective parts, reassembly and
readjustments. Assist outside contractors on overhaul and repair to
machine tools, facility improvements and other projects. Ensures
operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive
maintenance requirements on, motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulics, and
production machines. Able to read and follow diagrams, sketches,
operations manuals, manufacturer\'s instructions, and engineering
specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Locates sources of
problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for
problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Determines
changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts;
using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using
hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. Controls downtime by
informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance
techniques; monitoring compliance. Maintains equipment, parts, and
supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level;
anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and
expediting orders; verifying receipt. Conserves maintenance resources by
using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and
requests. Works closely with Engineering and office staff to
troubleshoot process and problems and give recommendations on new and
existing products and machines Maintains technical knowledge by
attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications;
establishing personal networks. Operate Robotic cells as required Work
in FanDuct Flow Line as required General Capable of following directions
Can complete tasks on his or her own Takes responsibility and able to
work independently Demonstrates customer focus by seeking out,
understanding, and responding to the needs of internal customers
Contributes to continuously improving the process/product Capable of
working in team environment Trains others by openly sharing information,
knowledge and expertise with the team Updates job knowledge as required
May be trained in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC). Travel
