JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the
activities of shipping personnel to ensure efficient and accurate order
fulfillment. - Assign tasks and prioritize workload to meet daily
shipping deadlines. - Prepare shipping documents, labels, and manifests
for outgoing orders. - Coordinate with warehouse staff to stage and load
shipments onto trucks in a timely manner. - Inspect outgoing orders to
verify accuracy, completeness, and quality standards. - Communicate with
carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pickups and track
shipments. - Resolve shipping-related issues, discrepancies, and
customer complaints in a professional and timely manner. - Train and
mentor shipping department staff on proper procedures and safety
protocols. - Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and
delivery schedules. - Monitor and enforce compliance with company
policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Ensure the
cleanliness and organization of the shipping area and equipment. -
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service,
to meet customer needs and expectations. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: - Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse
environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. - Strong
leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and
develop team members. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to
detail. - Proficiency with shipping software and computer systems (e.g.,
UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager). - Knowledge of shipping regulations,
customs procedures, and transportation logistics. - Ability to work
effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Strong
problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Forklift certification
and experience operating material handling equipment preferred. -
Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed. -
