Wieland Small Tube Products is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The maintenance technician will be responsible for assisting in maintaining, repairing and updating the machines and equipment inside the facility.
This role is located in Duncansville, PA and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $24.10 per hour with progression to $26.97 per hour at 1 year
Opportunity to earn a quarterly profit sharing bonus
shift differential:
2nd shift: $.40
3rd shift: $.50
Schedule:
2nd shift schedule: 3pm-11pm
3rd shift schedule: 11pm-7am
Pay Schedule: Weekly 


Responsibilities

Wieland Small Tube Products is hiring a Maintenance Technician. The Responsibilities include the following (but not limited to):
Supports continuous improvements
Operate machine shop equipment (including but not limited to:) lathes, millers, saws, pipe thread machines, grinders, drill press, shaper, etc. to produce an acceptable part as directed
Successful completion of crane safety, lock out tag out, confined space and powered industrial truck and other training programs as prescribed by HR/Safety Department
Ability to work OT as business needs require
Assists to troubleshoot equipment that has failed to operate properly, determines cause of defect and undertakes corrective action that is required.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or other equivalent training as approved by leadership
Maintains thorough knowledge of equipment/machine specific SOPs
Proficient knowledge and understanding of 3 phase industrial electricity
Proficient knowledge of AC/DC Schematics
Understands proper application of electrical codes
Proficient knowledge and understanding of solid-state electronics
Ability to read schematic drawings
Ability to size electrically
Proficient knowledge in use of acetylene torch and electrical welding
Proficient plumbing (pipe fitting) ability
Basic carpentry skills
