Job Description

 
Accountant - Performs general accounting duties such as maintaining a general ledger, making journal entries, advising supervisors in regard to appropriate balances and fund transfers. Assists in the development and implementation of new accounting procedures and systems to provide a clear audit trail of financial transactions. Prepares a variety of monthly and annual financial and statistical reports and analyses to comply with State, Federal and Local requirements, and to provide pertinent information for decision making. Assists in the preparation of an annual budget including estimation of revenues and appropriations. Assists in the implementation of new accounting procedures. <P> Education - <LI> AAS (Must have 15 cr. hrs. of Accounting) <P> Salary - <LI> Minimum - $41,932.00 <P> Major Skills - <LI> Analytical. <LI> Good with numbers. <LI> Detail Oriented. <P> Requirements - <LI> Reference Check/Background Check
