Quality Control Weekend Shift Hours are: Fri - Sat Sun 6am-6pm Job Summary The chosen candidate will perform regular product evaluations, record inspection results, and recommend improvements to the production process. To excel in this role, applicants should demonstrate great attention to detail with excellent observation skills. Responsibilities •Read instructions and diagrams to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies •Approve or reject products with respect to quality standards and track inspections with thorough documentation •Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications. •Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations. •Use automated systems to perform testing procedures when available •Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc. •Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards •Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained and discard any that doesn’t meet requirements •Prepare and submit reports and make recommendations to the quality lead or manager •Work with production employees, leads and managers to quickly make changes in production when needed.
