Education/experience | Master’s degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Education, Counseling, or related degree from an accredited institution. |
Job Summary | The Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) will assist with the day-to-day operational management of the department and the chapters at Radford University. Oversight of the community’s Standards of Excellence process and program. The Assistant Director will directly advise two of the four governing councils on campus (Multicultural Greek Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, Panhellenic Council, and Interfraternity Council). Additionally, the Assistant Director will coordinate community hazing prevention education, including planning and implementing National Hazing Prevention Week. The Assistant Director will advise the Order of Omega Chapter and provide support to general FSL programs (New member programming, academic support, FSL awards, risk management, officer trainings and retreats, etc.) The Assistant Director will serve as a resource for faculty and non-campus advisors to FSL organizations, and assist in the planning and implementation of department and university-wide programming. Evening and Weekend work is not uncommon. |
