Leads and manages the Strategic Supply Chain, including Strategic
Sourcing and Logistics. Leads the evaluation, design and implementation
of process improvements in the supply chain structure, resulting in a
structure that includes efficient customer-centric processes that add
value to the business while capturing annual year-over-year cost
reductions. Creates and leads significant strategic initiatives that
result in a best-in-class supply chain that serves as a value
proposition to customers. Responsibilities Leads the identification,
design and implementation of supply chain process redesign efforts that
deliver significant and sustainable improvement in \"best in class\"
supply chain to gain efficiency, quality and cost savings. Guides and
motivates the supply chain team to provide services that optimize
customer service, cost, quality, delivery and inventory levels.
Facilitates discussions and negotiations to drive alignment and
acceptance on implementing recommendations. Oversees the analysis of
market trends and developments that contribute to maximum profitability
through lowering costs with focus on both direct and indirect materials
and associated processes, improving quality and gaining efficiencies.
Works with Legal to ensure that the company is protected by proper terms
and conditions, an appropriate contracting procedure, policy, and
contract life cycle monitoring. Provides a process and system to
communicate and monitor supply base conformance to the compliance
requirements in the supplier manual. Integrates business processes and
systems with touch point functions such as New Product Introduction.
Partners with IT to develop robust decision support tools, automated
performance metrics and other productive uses of similar systems.
Directs the work of groups of employees (leads through managers and
directors). Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in a related field Minimum
of ten years of extensive integrated supply chain management experience,
including purchasing, logistics, manufacturing and inventory control
